Favicon Generator Instructions

Favicon generator, also known as favicon maker or favicon creator is an online tool that generates favicon.ico file from any image. It can also create animated favicons or favicons with scrolling text.

Step 1

Prepare the image you want to use for your favicon. Make sure it is perfectly square (Need help with creating your image?)

Allowed image types: .gif, .jpg, .png

Step 2

Browse for the image on your computer and select it.

Step 3

Press the Generate Favicon button.

Step 4

Download (right click on favicon.ico and "Save Target as..." or "Save Image as... ") your favicon. Name it "favicon.ico".

Now you have favicon.ico stored on your computer.
